I have always been interested in visual arts starting with sketching and drawing, and turned to photography during the last year of high school.
I enrolled in Fanshawe College in London after graduating from high school, and subsequently received my two year diploma in photography. I then returned to Fanshawe for a further year and specialized in portraiture and commercial.
During my third year at Fanshawe I received an award for outstanding photographic work as well as four awards from the Professional Photographers of Ontario (student print competition).
Since graduating from Fanshawe in 1991, I have done many weddings, portraits and have enjoyed taking extensive personal photos. I have had photos printed in calendars, hair style studio books, newspapers as well as the Oxford Tourism booklet for several years.
Most recently, two of my photos were chosen by Popular Photography to be printed in both the magazine and online.
At the present time, my education continues with learning Photoshop and digital manipulation of photos.
I continually strive to improve my technique and artistic vision and find that this is reflected in my work.
